I was once in an extremely similar place as you find yourself now.
I used to find it SO hard to not take on other people's 'stuff' and the 'stuff' within the environments I would enter.
To the point that I completely fried both my adrenal and nervous systems from trying to process all of it, I was trapped in my body for the best part of 12 years which I found more challenging than when I actually died.
I would find myself bending and contorting to suit others to make them feel comfortable even though it made ME feel uncomfortable.
